Sale-a-Bration Sample

I know, I know. You came back hoping to see my finished hybrid card. Well, here is the thing- I was borrowing some of the yellow twine from my mom to make the finished product... and well, I forgot to get some for my own sample!! No need to fear- she is sending me a little in the mail. But in the meantime I will entertain you with some other cards :)

I just finished our quarterly demonstrator swap, and I got some AWESOME samples made. This is one talented bunch of ladies I work with :) Since we are just starting up Sale-a-Bration I'm going to share those cards with you first... Ready... Set... Here we go!

I think this has to be one of my favorite cards of the day. But then, it has butterflies so there really is no competition right ;)

This card was designed by my Mom, Michelle Lembcke. Isn't she fun. It uses the FREE You're Lovely stamp set. I love the Hardwood background with it- they really go nicely together. And the color she picked for the flowers and butterflies really makes this card shine. It would make a perfect card for spring- perhaps for a Easter greeting :)

One of my other favorite little details of this card is how the linen thread was tied around the ribbon. It is such a simple trick, but it really does create a pretty effect. What do you think? Will you give it a try?
